Holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from the Lebanese University and an Executive MBA from ESA Business School & ESCP Europe.
Experience
She began her career with PERI in various offices across Lebanon, Kuwait, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, & Iraq from 2001 to 2020. Starting as a design engineer in Lebanon, she progressed to the Managing Director position in Kuwait, then in Lebanon, & Egypt. Throughout her tenure, she established legal entities, developed design and sales teams, and established stockyards, while also spearheading business development efforts in African countries.
Achievements
Sylva played a key role in restructuring several PERI offices, providing guidance and training to other management personnel. She was selected from among 9000 employees to serve as the Entrepreneurial Ambassador at PERI worldwide. With a strong focus on effective technical solutions, Sylva contributed to numerous landmark projects. In October 2020, she embraced the challenge of launching her own business in the MENA region, specialized in distributing PERI materials along with other brands and construction equipments.
Samer Arnaout
Export Project Engineer
Civil Engineer, he holds his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Beirut Arab University in 2015. He began his career in the formwork field in 2016 with PERI Lebanon as a Sales Engineer. He joined SmartFlow in 2022 as an Export Sales Engineer. With extensive experience in managing complex projects across Africa and the Middle East, he is an open-minded and customer-focused sales engineer passionate about his work.
Elsy Mrad
Formwork Project Engineer
Civil engineer, she holds her master’s degree in Structural Civil Engineering from CNAM Beirut University in 2018. She commenced her career in civil works in 2014 and joined PERI Lebanon as a Design Formwork Engineer in 2018. She transitioned to SmartFlow in 2022. She is an expert formwork designer with extensive experience in both local and international mega projects. Her curiosity and creativity are
noteworthy, complemented by her remarkable dedication to her work.
Darine Zgheib
Accountant & Logistics Officer
Darine, an accomplished Accountant & Logistics Officer, holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Lebanese University (2011). She embarked on her professional journey in the banking sector, then Food & beverage industry, gaining valuable experience in accounting and finance. Transitioning into logistics, Darine contributed her expertise to a prominent shipping agency before joining SmartFlow in 2024. Darine is a highly skilled accountant with extensive experience in financial reporting, planning, and auditing. At SmartFlow, she continues to leverage her deep knowledge and versatile skill set to drive financial excellence and streamline logistical processes.
